With a musical career which can be traced back as far as ten years, Marco Chali has truly won himself a spot among the greatest producers in East Africa.
Marco Chali was born Marco Mathias Chali in Bugando Mwanza on 29th May, 1979 Thursday 2pm at Bugando hospital. First born among seven children of Mr. and Mrs. Mathias E. Chali. He started his music journey as a choir master and transitioned later on to work as a teaching assistant for keyboard classes in Ukonga Church. Under Sound Crafter Music Recording Company owner Enrico, whom he met during his struggle, Marco discovered a new passion, in music production and programming. He learnt how to produce and engineer music by using computers and software. He later on worked at different music studios such as Vine Yard Records, Serious Records, Nash Records, Metro Studios,Big Apple and Kama Kawa Records. During all this time Marco managed to build and establish himself a name in the Tanzania music industry before been seen by a legendary music producer, Master Jay who took him (Marco) to work under a famous music recording company MJ Records. His long time struggle, Skills, Hard work, Experience and long time learning have given him music career and the best music producer title.
